Dashboard

The 12Port dashboard acts as a permission enforced landing page where users arrive after successful authentication.

The dashboard features several widgets that present data, activity, and metrics related to the tenant's usage. Each widget has its own set of controls; some offer advanced filtering and download options, while others are primarily for data visualization with fewer features.

Software update message presented at the top of the dashboard when a new version is published and ready for download.

Administrators accessing the dashboard will be able to view all widget data, whereas users with lower permissions will see a limited subset of data on their dashboards.

Break Glass Key

Space Role: Administrators users can access this tenant's Break Glass Key at the bottom of this Dashboard page. The Break Glass Key is required for emergency operations with the tenant such as recovering lost passwords, removing blocks created by request forms or recovering secrets from the backup in case of system outages.

Use the Unlock button to copy and then save this key in a safe and secure location in case the tenant is inaccessible when it is needed.

Use the Rotate button to reset the Break Glass Key if needed.

Note

When the Break Glass Key is rotated, the previous key becomes invalid. Use caution before performing this operation.
