AI Insights Report

The AI Insights page provides a centralized interface for reviewing, monitoring, and managing all AI prompt submissions within a 12Port tenant. This report displays the execution status of each AI request and allows authorized users to review submitted prompts, analyze AI-generated responses, and troubleshoot failed executions.

The AI Insights page serves as the primary audit and operational view for AI activity, enabling Administrators, Auditors, and AI Managers to maintain oversight of AI usage across reports.

Access the AI Insight Page

To access the AI Insights page:

  1. Login with an Administrator, Auditor, or AI Manager account.
  2. Navigate to AI > Insights.
  3. Review the available insight records and use the Actions menu for each entry to show details, view results, or delete records as required.

AI Insight Report Details

When viewing an individual AI Insight record, the following fields are displayed:

  • Status
    Indicates the current processing state of the submission: Processing, Success, or Error.

    • Success displays the AI-generated output response.
    • Error displays the returned error message for diagnostic purposes.

  • Entity
    Identifies the source report type from which the AI prompt was executed (for example, Events or Session Events).

  • Description
    Provides contextual details associated with the selected report submission.

  • System Prompt
    Displays the system-level instructions that governed AI behavior for the request.

  • User Prompt
    Displays the user-defined analytical request submitted with the report data.

  • Response
    Contains the AI-generated output for successful submissions.

  • Message
    Displays error information returned by the AI provider for failed submissions, supporting troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Exporting AI Insight Reports

For completed submissions with a Success status, the Insight record can be exported using the Export to PDF option located at the bottom of the report view. This allows AI-generated insights to be archived or included in audit and compliance documentation.
