New Features

Added the option to create assets using Network Traffic Flow Chart

Add Asset option allows to identify and to classify devices using visual detected network connections map on the Network Traffic Flow Chart to apply application policies.

The option further advances Network Traffic Flow Chart to become an active visual facility for analyzing and classifying network devices from the data collected from the network.

Added Drill-down option to the Network Traffic Flow Chart.

Drill-down option allows to expand or to focus Network Traffic Flow Chart following the asset container hierarchy. Unlike diagram zoom, drill-down option reduces (or increases) number of nodes and connections on the visual chart based on the assets located in selected container (instead of changing the size of the existing chart on the screen that zoom does).

The option helps to analyze and to manage large networks by dividing them to hierarchical structures.

Added multi-parameter search option to the Network Traffic Flow Chart.

Multi-parameter search allows to find assets on the Network Traffic Flow Chart using several criteria that further refine each other results. The criteria allow search by the taxonomy terms or by asset name or description. Search by term includes all sub-terms of the selected term in the search criteria.

Multi-term search enables research of the effects of the microsegmentation policies using visual network representation by following policy selectors identification of assets.

Added the option to mass-add selected non-asset hosts from the Network Traffic Flow chart to new or existing Network Location

The option to aggregate non-asset hosts to few Network Locations using visual representation allows to simplify Network Traffic Flow Charts reducing the number of objects they display. The option also simplifies visualization of the design of microsegmentation policies grouping multiple outbound connections to few network location assets.

  • Added the option to create Network Locations from the IP-node on the Network Traffic Flow Chart.

  • Added support for the field with values as well as to assets with fields to the Multi-parameter search REST API.

  • Optimized performance of search operations on the Network Traffic Flow Chart.

  • Fixed the issue with displaying empty Network Traffic Flow Chart for containers that do not include any collected traffic data.

  • Fixed the issue with adding or removing targets to the Request Selectors enables the save option on the Request Selector edit screen.
