Service Check Page

12Port Horizon includes a Service Check page designed to assess the active status of the software node(s). In multi-node, load-balanced deployments, this page can also be used by the load balancer to check the online or offline status of each individual node, to best determine where to direct traffic.

If the node is active (online), the page will return an HTML status 200 and display the node name of this Host and its current local Time. If the node is inactive (offline), the page will return an HTML status 404, 503 or another error code.

The Service Check page can be accessed by using the URL below, replacing <your12port.com:port> with your specific 12Port host:
