Personal Sites¶
Overview¶
Personal Sites provide users with a dedicated, isolated workspace within the PAM Vault for managing personal assets separately from the primary organizational site. Each Personal Site is owned by a single user and is designed to securely store and manage personal credentials and supported assets without affecting the shared site vault.
Unlike the primary site, which supports collaborative administration and shared access, a Personal Site focuses on individual asset management. Personal Sites support core asset management capabilities while intentionally excluding advanced administrative and operational features available in standard sites.
Use Cases¶
Personal Sites are well suited for scenarios where users need to securely manage assets that are intended for personal use, including:
- Storing personal administrative credentials.
- Managing development, laboratory, or testing environments.
- Organizing credentials for individually owned cloud or SaaS accounts.
- Maintaining personal infrastructure assets separately from organizational assets.
- Generating Safe Links for personal assets when secure sharing is required.
