Added Modern Software Maintenance Component

Introduced a modernized software installation, update, and uninstallation component with the following capabilities:

  • Unified binary for installation, updates, and uninstallation across Linux and Windows platforms, x86 and ARM architectures, interactive and silent modes, and online and offline operations.

  • Digital signature verification of downloaded components during online installation and updates across all supported platforms.

  • GUI-based installation, updates, and uninstallation on Windows.

  • MSI packaging for offline installation on Windows.

  • Integration with Windows Add or Remove Programs for software management.

Extensions

  • Added support for multi-line scripts with comments to configure Universal Application Launcher RemoteApps for secure application access through an RDS jump host.

  • Added support for launching sessions immediately following non-interactive access request approval from the Asset View and Asset List screens, including the Quick Launch option, to streamline access to endpoints requiring comments or MFA.

  • Added an option to run or schedule tenant backups without audit logs and runtime data, including events, sessions, session events, and network statistics.

  • Added support for preserving the selected page size and sort order on Asset List screens.

  • Added support for preserving the selected page size in the Events, Sessions, Session Events, Jobs, and Action Requests reports at both site and asset levels.

  • Added an indicator to the Asset List screens to identify assets with active sessions.

  • Added support for automatically closing the browser tab after disconnecting a WEB session.

  • Improved backup performance of log entities such as Events, Session Events, Import and Asset History.

  • Added support for granting site, asset, and container permissions to multiple users simultaneously.

Fixes

  • Fixed the issue with inheriting asset tasks from new type after switching asset type.

  • Fixed the issue with scheduled backups run at the same time by increasing backup lock timeout.

  • Fixed the issue with the script, tasks, actions and script roles available for only Horizon licenses remained visible for the licenses that do not include Horizon module to simplify Access Manager GUI and navigation.

  • Added detailed backup timing information to the backup log to troubleshoot backup performance.

  • Fixed the issue with aggregated logging of backup entities.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented case-insensitive searches in the Session Events report.

  • Fixed the issue with Asian fonts in the WEB SSH Sessions.
